The 10th Annual Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference is fast approaching! Registration will open each day at 7:45am. The daily workshop schedule will run from 8:45am until 6:50pm each day, with a break for lunch and in the mid afternoon. There will be a 10 minute break in between each 80 minute workshop session. There are three full days of programming and evening activities - pace yourself!June 2-4, 2011 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center

You can click on any workshop title to get more details about the workshop and its presenters. There will also be age-appropriate programming during these hours for children ages 3-12 in the PTHC Kids Camp. The PTHC T-Spacewill provide programming for teens and young adults. The PTHC Community Space (Room 105B) will be available throughout the conference providing space for lunch gatherings, creative expression, and down-time. If you’re bringing a lap-top, free wi-fi will be available in the Community Space! Spiritual opportunities are back this year. Twelve-step meetings will be offered on-site at lunchtime. We also have a reference list of AA, NA, and Crystal Meth meetings in the area. Also, several community groups and organizations are sponsoring events and activities during and around the Conference that may be of interest to you. Continuing Education Credits CEUs will be available through the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) for certain workshops (1.25 credits per workshop for a maximum of 17.5 credits). These credits are for licensed social workers, licensed clinical social workers, licensed marriage & family therapists, and licensed professional counselors, as approved by NASW-PA (a pre-approved provider by the PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists, & Professional Counselors). CEUs may be transferable for other disciplines. There is no charge to attend any workshops at the PhiladelphiaTrans-Health Conference. However, there is a charge to receive credits and your CE certificate: 2.50 to 6.25 credits – $25 flat fee ($15 for NASW members) 7.50 or more credits – $5 per credit ($4 per credit for NASW members) You must have a minimum 2.5 credits to receive a certificate. To obtain CEUs, pick up a CEU packet at the Registration Table. The packet will identify which workshops have been approved for CEUs (they will also be listed in the program book on pp 99-100). At the end of your time at the Conference turn in the completed packet and workshop evaluations to the Registration Table. Payment will be collected at that time (credit card, cash, or check payable to Mazzoni Center). Certificates will then be mailed to you.
